Baims Teacher Portal
Baims empowers educators by giving them direct control over their content, finances, and performance—all in one intuitive platform.
Previously, instructors depended on teaching assistants to manage basic administrative tasks, leading to delays, miscommunications, and unnecessary overhead. To solve this, we built what was initially called Teacher Portal V2—a robust self-serve dashboard tailored specifically for Baims educators.
Together with my teammate Sina, I led the product design efforts to streamline the experience for teachers. Our focus was on accessibility, clarity, and control—making it effortless for instructors to manage their information without relying on intermediaries. From managing course pricing to uploading new content, the interface was designed to feel empowering, not overwhelming.
The rollout of the teacher portal significantly reduced the platform’s monthly operational costs by minimizing reliance on teaching assistants. It also improved the overall quality and speed of content management. Most notably, the project played a key role in building investor confidence, contributing to Baims’ successful $4.4M fundraising round in March 2023.
