Medoc
Medoc is a telehealth platform designed to deliver accessible, high-quality medical care at an affordable cost—starting with underserved communities in the Middle East.
Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, Medoc set out to bridge the healthcare gap in regions like Iraq, where access to reliable medical services was limited and traditional field examinations became nearly impossible.

As part of the core product team, I contributed to shaping a user-centric telehealth experience—one that felt trustworthy, intuitive, and responsive to the unique constraints of the region. Beyond the digital interface, we tackled a critical challenge: enabling remote examinations in a time when in-person interaction was heavily restricted.
To address this, we partnered with G.A.T., a medical tech engineering team, to design a custom hardware unit. Installed in Medoc-affiliated clinics, this device enabled physicians to perform essential field examinations remotely, significantly enhancing diagnostic accuracy and the overall care experience.

This hybrid approach led to a successful rollout in Iraq and later expanded to Turkey in 2022. Medoc quickly gained traction as a reliable healthcare alternative during a time of global crisis, demonstrating how thoughtful technology and strategic partnerships can make meaningful healthcare more inclusive—starting where it’s needed most.
