Description
Baims Chat is a messanger feature for Baims which is an ed-tech product. Prior to existance of this feature users had to rely on third-party messanger apps to communicate with their classmates and educators. With this feature built in to baims app several pain points were resolved:
Real-Time Communication: Users required a chat feature that enabled real-time communication with their peers and teachers. The messaging system is fast and efficient, allowing for seamless communication without any delays.
Group Chat Functionality: Group chat functionality is essential for students to collaborate on projects, discuss assignments, and share notes. The app allows for the creation of groups with the option to add or remove members.
Multimedia Support: Users required the ability to share multimedia files such as images, videos, and audio recordings.
Message Search: To ensure that students don't miss important messages, a search functionwere implemented that allows them to find specific messages or conversations easily.
Privacy: Users privacy were ensured by End-to-End Encryption. The outcome of this project was a boost in user time on site and satisfaction according to social media polls.
